The KILL Part 2.

June 2, 2010

As you may have noticed from the previous post, we are one of the first few to receive the Black Market Killswitch, thanks to Ian and Auntie Ros from Unsprung!

So the next day after we set up the Killswitch, we headed to ECP to give it a little test ride.

Our first impressions after a few runs in the skatepark was that it felt really fast and nimble,  thanks to its short chainstays and compact geometry. If you intend to ride this bike in the skatepark, you might want to increase the  air pressure in the shock so that the suspension doesn’t soak up everything. We haven’t tested it on the trails yet though, so we can’t give you a review on that, but we reckon it wouldn’t be too bad at all.

Overall, we think the Killswitch would be a great all round bike for dirt jumping/slopestyle/general trickery. And with a retail price of SGD$1950, it’s pretty damn good deal!

Time for a quick bike check.

Black Market BadaBoom bars, Underboss stem, Lock Down grips. Shimano Saint brakes.
