Custom “FourPlay” for Inspired 2011

November 18, 2010

When Jeremy heard that Inspired Bicycles will have a twin disc version of the all time popular 24″ Inspired FourPlay series. He took no time to decide and order one for himself in Dark red from the Lime green version available for 2011 line up.

Inspired Bicycles was one of the first few, if not the first Bicycle company to produce Street Trial Specific bicycles with its sister company, TrialTech Performance Trial Prducts. Being the pioneer and bench mark in the trade, Inspired Bicycles went through many proto-types with rider Danny Macaskill. Which results in frames that are not just meant for Street Trial, but an alloy frame that can take the abuse of day to day, breath taking stunt and abuses.

With a well design and finished frame we need to match it up with quality parts as well! Atomlab rims and DMR Moto Digger 2.35 tires with Hope Pro 2 Trials hub combination as seen on Danny Mac’s Bike. Stiff Modulo 175 crankset with loads of TrialTech parts from the drive-train like 18T fixed sprocket and dual ring sport protector, TrialTech chain and chain-stay protector with 14T sport rear dead cog and a fixed tensioner ( which was modified to fit the 2011 frame!).

That’s one of the reason why no doubt many other companies started making lighter and more affortable 24″ bikes to sustain the market, Inspired Bicycles just continue to strengthen their roots in the 2011 frame with a rear disc mount and reworked the whole rear seat-stay, chainstay and drop out.Not forgetting to mentioned a totally new hour glass shaped head tube with very tight tolerance for a tight headset press! Talk about build quality!

What is really new here is the recently launched Ashima PCB brake set with an upgraded 180mm Braking rotor up on the front. Handle bar was taken off a Monty 220 stock bike with a Modulo Stem and BlackSpire DH headset in Black.

24″ bikes have since picked up tremendously in the past few years and lets hope that we will see more Inspired feeding into the trend in future!
