Taipei Show Part 1 – Nicolai

March 21, 2011

Taipei Bike Show have always been one of the important yearly events that we will visit. During this show, major to minor bicycle companies gather to show case what they have for that very year and often being the first show of the year to do a sneak peek of what would be launched in Summer during Inter-Bikes or Euro-Bike Show.

We also took this chance to meet up with our house brands like Nicolai, DMR, Atomlab, Pillar, etc. to find out more about the new, the old and the improved! As there are so many different photos and so much to talk about we will split in into different part starting with some news from Nicolai.

There was a special bike being displayed at the show that has been recently requested by both Timac and Nicolai 4x Racing Team and deleveloped by Nicolai. Named Ion-14, it will be going though some slight revision as its said to be over build at this moment. Nicolai is also considering making this frame into a production model to replace UFO DS. And also possibly the Helius AFR as ION-18. Which means this could well be a new 4x , slope-style bike but till real time information is release on the production model we will only have these photos for you now!

Stay tune for part 2 !
