Nicolai Helius AM – Greenish Dizzler

May 20, 2011

Not your usual paint job you get to see in magazines and even online forums, not even probably from a custom paint job shop. Some what as unique or even more then graphic air brushes. This is Nicolai’s Very own Dizzy camo paint job.

The owner Ewan had to choose 3 RAL colour codes representing the Green, off white and light olive greenish trio u see that’s being used in this paint job. And how this is being done remains as a trade secret that only the painters in Nicolai will know and compliments to them in their own incomparable paint department.

Much thoughts were given and many changes in plan for this build as better and more matching option comes up along the way. It took Ewan and us a very ( really very) long dialogue and multiple changes to finally come to what you are viewing now. A pure beauty that glows within the paint job to the modern parts that compliments the look and match make the riding potential of the bike.

All you will see are nothing but the latest, Magura Marta FR in Anodized Olive green, latest Havoc bars from Easton matched with Hope Stem. Anodized green BlackSpire Double Deep headset – something that you can only find in multiple colors at our store and only this part of the world right now.

DriveTrain was taken care of using a 1×10, new E-Thirteen cranks on BlackSpire Chainguides and Chainring, SRAM XO rear D and Shifters.

We build every bike at our very best as though if every one of them is like our own. But we listen to our customers for their final feedback and make appropriate adjustments on the fly. At the end of the day you have to agree that no other human is exactly the same and this exact philosophy in our business leads to a number of very individual custom built bikes that every rider out there deserves.

Thanks Ewan for the wonderful pictures and allowing us to use them, and espacially the kind words that he have mailed us. These keep us going here at AttitudeBikes.

Massage from Ewan:-

“Hi Walton,
here are the photos u requested.

Just wanna input so far this bike exceed my expectations in its climbing ability.
Of course steep slopes, I would have to resort to dismount and pushing
but some gradual technical tight corner slopes I am surprised this bike is manoueverable and beable to climb! (Ketam trails and the WC)

On the downhills and some average drops (the woodcutter stream drop) this bike came to its own…! I am amazed to say the least…

But i still believe i can improve this bike… it shows a lot of potential…
Anyway thanks to U and Attitude bikes for the support…

Best Regards,

Every bit just looks right on this bike. Not something one finds everyday. Would hope to see it in real soon.
