2Hearts Racing.

February 17, 2012

AttitudeBikes is proud to announce that we will be supporting Ian and Fahmi from 2Hearts Racing this year. With the first DH race on their calendar approaching, the guys competed in an Enduro race in Johor Bahru, Malaysia as part of their preparations for the 2012 season.

This was their update from the weekend:

“Hey Walton,

The year of racing is taking on slowly, with the first DH race planning to be in April. I’ve been hard at training. Last weekend, there was a 60km endurance race in JB, i decided to have a go at it, good to keep the race hunger fed but more importantly as cross training for the season. Also that was the first race together with my teammate racing under 2Hearts Racing.

The race took us through the JB hills and plantations, thankfully the weather held up and the conditions most of the morning was good, until lunch where the sun was blistering! Considering this is my first endurance race, I had no clue what to expect or where I’d place, my aim was for a top 100, note there were 1038 entries. Yes one thousand and thirty eight.

After crossing the half way checkpoint a marshall shouted “top 20!”. Super happy and reenergized, I chased hard to catch the guys ahead. Unfortunately at the 45km point, I had a puncture at the rocky decent which allowed some riders to pass. Chasing hard to the end i finished 30th with a time of 3hrs 32mins. Fahmi finished 264th with same fortunes of a puncture at the same rocky decent.

Looking forward to more enduro this year!

Keep Safe n’ Best Wishes
Ian Krempl”

Here’s wishing Ian and Fahmi all the best for the upcoming season!
