Specialized S-Works Enduro build.

March 5, 2012

Loving the standard Specialized Enduro as his first off road rig, Dominic, decided to jump on what could possibly be the best Enduro in the Specialized range, the Specialized S-Works Enduro.

The frame kit was purchased off our local Specialized dealer, right off the display shelf. This means that it should be the only piece in Singapore at this moment.

The S-Works frame comes standard with a custom-valved Fox Racing Shox Kashima RP23. It is sensitive, and has held up to all that Dominic had thrown at it, pretty damn well in fact.

A light weight Sram XO drivetrain provides crisp shifting, a perfect balance of weight and durability. The patented FSR linkage provides a plush and sensitive feel OF the rear wheel, absorbing all bumps and keeping the rear wheel on the ground when it has to to maintain rear wheel traction and grip at all times.

Down to the cockpit, we have the new coloured Thomson stem faceplate, and headset top cap. Colours are available in anodised red, gold or blue.

The rainbow coloured titanium bolts you see here on the stems and other cockpit areas are separate upgrades, each sold separately!

Just in case you were wondering, the standard Specialized Enduro with a similar set up weighs around 16kg. After making the swap to an S-Works Carbon frame, along with a few other carbon parts, it saw an overall weight reduction to 14.4kg!
